Steamboat Media Company started with a few friends passionate about their community. We wanted to foster community pride while challenging our neighbors to do better.

With a passion for history and skill behind a video camera, we got to work.

Eventually, we had grown beyond capacity. No longer could we tell our community’s stories alone.

Partnering with local television stations, employing musicians and visual artists, keeping the public engaged with our content; this required organization and structure.

In the fall of 2019, we decided to put our collective decades of experience with local storytelling into practice and formed Steamboat Media Company LLC.

Every individual has a compelling story; every organization and every neighborhood is made up of compelling individuals. Stories are present in all of us, just waiting to be told.
